After adding 404 runs on the board in the first innings, the Indian team is having a good time at the Zahur Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. Indian bowlers have ripped the Bangladesh batting and picked up 6 wickets by giving away just 97 runs.
The first wicket of Bangladesh’s batting fell when the team has no runs on the board. Najmul Hossain Shanto was caught behind by Mohammed Siraj on the very first ball of Bangladesh innings. Rishabh Pant took a diving catch behind the stumps. The catch brought netizens’ attention and they termed Pant as ‘Spiderman’

Pant came back into the team after an injury that ruled him out of the ODI series vs Bangladesh. In Pant’s absence, KL Rahul donned the wicketkeeping gloves and scored crucial runs for Team India in the first game. While in the final match of the series when skipper Rohit Sharma was ruled out of the match after a serious injury on his thumb, Ishan Kishan played at top of the order. Kishan delivered a historic performance in the rare chance he got.
Kishan scored 210 runs and almost sealed his spot on top of the order. The question now is if Pant makes a comeback in the ODIs then where will Team India fit him? With KL Rahul’s poor form and Suryakumar Yadav’s splendid batting in T20Is, the management could drop Shikhar Dhawan and Pant and give the wicketkeeping gloves to Kishan.
