BCCI Refutes Media Reports on Skipping ACC Events, Devajit Saikia Says No Decision Yet

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has its eyes firmly set on IPL 2025 and the upcoming India-England tour. It sees these events as its main priority this year. 

Moreover, a post by Asian News International on X stated that no decision has yet been made on whether India will withdraw from ACC tournaments or not. Such reports caught the board's attention immediately, prompting a swift response. 

No Decision Made on ACC Participation

The top sources suggested that India could opt out of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) tournaments. The BCCI was prompt in calling out these rumors as baseless. Secretary Devajit Saikia made it clear that no official discussion has been presented. 

Saikia also highlighted the fact that no speculation about withdrawal has yet been discussed. This straight denial paved the way for holding on to the board's existing plans. He underlined that the ongoing IPL remains the BCCI's top focus for the coming months.
