Buttler out of the third T20I against Australia after breaking the bio-secure bubble

England wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler will not be able to play in the third and final T20 International against Australia on Tuesday as he broke the bio-secure bubble.

The 29-year-old played an important role in a six-wicket win for England by scoring an unbeaten 77 runs in the second T20I.

Buttler moved out of the bio-secure environment of England’s team to spend some time with his family. After this England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has released a statement and stated that, “The wicket-keeper batsman will not play in the final T20I match against Australia on Tuesday in the Rose Bowl.”

England are in the lead of 2–0 in the three-match T20I series. As a member of the Test team, Butler spent two months in a bio-safe environment for the Test series against the West Indies and Pakistan too. Later he joined the limited-overs team for the Australian series.

“Butler will return to the bio-safe environment on Thursday before the first ODI match at Old Trafford on Friday, but he will be tested before that,” said the ECB official. Both teams will play three matches after the final T20 at the Rose Bowl. They will go to Manchester for the ODI series.
