After defeating England in the second T20, Indian team, led by captain Virat Kohli will look to take the lead in the third T20 match which will take place on March 16.
India had lost by eight wickets in the first T20 match but they came back stronger with defeating England by seven wickets in the second T20I match on Sunday. The debutant Ishaan Kishan, was the player of the match who debuted from this match for his 56 runs off 32 balls.
The debutant has showed his class and temperament to stay in the contention for the playing 11 for the mega T20 World Cup which will be held later this year.
As of now there are four opening choices for the Indian team Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Ishan Kishaan and Shikhar Dhawan. The first choice for the slot is definetely the KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma but now after yesterday’s inings Ishaan Kishan has broke all the boundation and made his strong contention for the opening slot.
Talking about the World T20I India can carry only 3 openers and looking at the current form of the players Dhawan is almost out of the contention for the third choice for the opening slot.
