Complaint registered against Netizens who made obscene comments against Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni’s daughter

Virat Kohli – MS Dhoni: On Monday, the Delhi Police filed a complaint against six social media profiles for making derogatory remarks against the daughters of two Indian players, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli. Following the notification issued by Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) Chairperson Swati Maliwal, the police sprang into action.

Swati Maliwal had requested for action

Maliwal has requested action be taken against the suspect for making derogatory remarks about the daughters of the two cricket players. Maliwal on Twitter posted, “After my notice, the Delhi Police has registered an FIR in the case of indecent comments made against the daughters of Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. Very soon, all the culprits will be arrested and sent behind bars.”

The head of DCW has requested that the Delhi Police Cyber Cell file a FIR against anyone who was tweeting derogatory or sexist remarks against the spouses and daughters of cricketers Kohli and Dhoni. On January 11, the daughter of Virat and Anushka, Vamika, turned two. It was Vamika’s birthday when the the abusive remarks was posted on social media.

What did Swati Maliwal tweet?

It’s not the first time the commission has taken note of the “hate” directed against Vamika. The online threat to rape Vamika when she was nine months old was posted on Twitter in 2021, and the Delhi Commission for Women took immediate notice.
