Cricket Video: The 21-year-old Pakistani wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Haris nearly escaped a severe accident. Actually, Mohammad Haris was wicketkeeping without a helmet during the match between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Central Punjab in the national tournament of Pakistan.

Ball hits near Mohammad Haris' eyes

A fast-moving ball struck him near the eyes in the meanwhile. Haris had to leave the ground once he began bleeding. His career might have been over at the age of just 21 if this ball had struck his eye. The incident took place in Punjab's batting's fifth over. The final ball thrown by bowler Khalid had significant rotation when it hit the ground. The batter attempted to play the shot but failed to do so. Haris attempted to catch the ball while it was behind the wicket.

Here, too, he erred, and the swiftly approaching ball struck him exactly between the eyebrows to the left of his eye. Young Haris had to leave the field right away since he appeared to be in discomfort. After the game, a photo of him appeared in which a bandage was covering his skull. Reports state that he is now fine.

Many times talented athletes were forced to retire from the game due to an injury. Young players ought to take a lesson from Haris's experience in such a circumstance. Kids should be taught that during a game, other gear, like helmets, must be worn.
