Cricket Viral Video: Andrew Flintoff ball hits MS Dhoni on head, what the latter did next will make you say, ‘Unbelievable!’

Cricket Viral Video: MS Dhoni fulfilled India’s quest for a wicket-keeper batsman who could score runs consistently and hit big shots with ease, early in the 2000s. He was known for his flashy style of batting in his early international career, and his fearless approach to face even the best fast bowlers of his time, like Shoaib Akhtar and Dale Steyn.

Dhoni gives a six-shattering reply

In 2006, during a Test match between India and England, Dhoni had a face-off with former England all-rounder, Andrew Flintoff. Flintoff hit Dhoni on the helmet with a bouncer, but the wicket-keeper batsman was able to escape serious injury as the ball struck the back of his helmet. Though, for a moment Dhoni appeared to be shocked and confused.

Dhoni responded with a brilliant pull shot the very next ball, which was bowled short and raced away for a boundary. This showcased his ability to remain calm and composed, and he went on to earn the nickname ‘Captain Cool’ for his ability to bail India out of pressure situations. The six was clearly a big one and changed on to course of the match.
