Cricket Viral Video: Afghanistan vs Netherlands was a do-or-die for both teams. The team winning would still have the chance to make it to the knockouts of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.

While the losing team would be almost knocked out of the competition. That is why both teams were giving their all on the ground. Afghanistan might have registered a comfortable-looking win over the Netherlands but things were not that simple.

The Orange Lions were on 66/1 at the end of 10 overs and were looking at a good score. Afghanistan was sloppy by then misfields took place all over the ground and the team looked lackluster.

It was Rashid Khan who came back on the field and raised the spirits of his team. The team changed after that and the fielding level increased. The morale was so high and intense that the Afghans registered four run-outs in the same game.

Cricket Viral Video: Barest Of The Margins!

The cricket viral video features all four run outs that Afghans registered against the Netherlands. Max O’Dowd was the first player who got run out and that too in an emphatic fashion.

Max was playing wonderfully and wanted a double over a paddle sweep that went towards the boundary. But a direct hit from a fine leg boundary line by Azmatullah Omarzai left Max shocked and he had to go back to the pavilion.

This runout started some kind of chain reaction as the next three batsmen were run out as well. Colin Ackermann, Sybrand Engelbrecht, and skipper Scott Edwards were all runout courtesy of amazing fielding.

 Knockout In Sights

With this victory, Afghanistan is in fifth position now with the same points as New Zealand and Australia. The best thing is that the Afghan players have the opportunity to decide their fate themselves.

Their next two fixtures are tough as they will face Australia and South Africa. But if they can defeat the Aussies they will take their place in the points table. Considering how well they have played, they can easily do so and qualify for the knockouts of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.
