Cricket Viral Video: Regarded as one of the greatest batters of the modern era, the former Indian skipper Virat Kohli is a well-known name among cricket fans, having scored over 25,000 runs in his career. Apart from his run-scoring ability, he is also known for his quick reflexes and fielding skills. During one such fielding effort, his trouser also fell down on camera in an effort to save the ball.
Kohli loses pants in remarkable efforts
Recognized as an exceptional fielder who puts in his best effort to save runs for his team, he once made a remarkable attempt that made him lose his trousers. The incident occurred in 2010, during the Tri-Nation Tournament in Bangladesh where India played against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. In the second match of the tournament, India set a target of 261 runs with the help of Yuvraj Singh’s innings after scoring 260 against Sri Lanka.
During the second inning while fielding, in the 48th over’s third ball, Thilan Samaraweera hit a boundary. Virat Kohli, who was fielding in that position, attempted to save the boundary but was unsuccessful. During his dive, his pants slipped off, leaving him in his underwear.
The now-viral video was posted by a youtube channel years back and has amassed popularity ever since. Many of his fans even do not know of this appreciable yet embarrassing moment. Virat Kohli even talked about this incident on camera during an interview and stated that it was a very crucial moment of the game when he tried stopping the ball and his ‘Big Brother’ Yuvraj Singh burst out laughing after seeing him.
