While Will Jacks stole all the spotlight during RCB’s batting, it was the heartful banter between Kohli and Shubman Gill that stole all the hearts. The King and the Prince were enjoying their time on the ground.
We have seen Kohli and Gill banter before as the former Indian skipper likes to tease the youngster. Their banters alongside Ishan Kishan were the highlights of the test series in the West Indies.

While Kohli was masterfully chasing down the 200-run target, he made sure to have some fun alongside it. He saw the opportunity when Gill was trying to set the field. He playfully interrupted the youngster.
Virat Kohli increased his antics and got in the face of Gill as both players smiled and laughed. The crowd was also enjoying this banter. Gill tried to maintain focus on the match but could not help himself and got into a light-hearted exchange with RCB’s batsman.
This camaraderie was evident throughout the match. While RCB was fielding, Kohli walked towards the boundary line to have a fun chat with Shubman Gill. He even had a nice brief moment with Ashish Nehra who was sitting beside Gill.

The fans witnessing this moment live cheered whenever these two collided. Even social media was filled with fans cherishing this moment. One fan went to the social media platform ‘X’ and stated how much she missed both of them together.
We hope to see more of this banter between these two during the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 when they both will play together.
