Back in 2023, after a spectacular season in IPL, Rinku was being interviewed and the moment took over the internet. The interviewer asked whether he had gotten some tips from senior players that stayed with him.
In typical Rinku fashion, he replied that he had once asked MS Dhoni for some tips and the wicketkeeper even helped the youngster, but he forgot. In the latest Knights Dugout episode, Rinku looks back at that moment.

Knights Dugout is a KKR talk show hosted by Cyrus Broacha, which has given us so many memorable moments over the years. And when you have Rinku Singh as a guest, things are going to be memorable.
The conversation started when Cyrus played the famous clip on the show and everyone started laughing. Abhishek Nayar stated that it is typical Rinku and only he can do something like that.
The left-handed batter stated his defense and said it was not the complete truth. He further clarified that It was the first time he was speaking with a big player. There was no pressure on him but he was in awe of MS Dhoni. He was not able to concentrate on what the former Indian skipper was saying and was staring at him with blank expressions.
Cyrus asked whether he remembers the advice Dhoni gave him now or not, to which Rinku once again replied with a ‘No.’
