Cricket Viral Video: There might not be a better spin bowler than Sri Lanka legend Muttiah Murlidharan. He has achieved everything that an elite bowler dreams of and devote their life to achieving.

A slinging weird action that left every batsman under his spell. In Virender Sehwag own words, it took him seven years to figure out how to play the spin maestro. And it was all because of his dedication to the art.

Even during his final match, he was practicing more than anyone. The man just loved to bowl, and there was nothing else he would have done other than this. And it was perfectly featured in a knock-the-coin challenge after Murlidharan’s retirement.

Cricket Viral Video: Still The Master

A few years back, a video took the internet by storm. The video features Muttiah Murlidharan and former England spinner Graeme Swann. It was a challenge that was filmed soon after the retirement of these two.

The challenge was to knock the coin off a glass that would be on the top of the wicket without making the glass fall. Swann stated that what they were going to try was humanly impossible.

But the spin master is not a mere human now, is he? Both these greats took their turn to try and knock the coin down. Both of them came close, but none of them was able to do the task. That was until Murlidharan decided to get serious.

An Impossible Feat Achieved

After a few tries, the Sri Lankan changed the angle and started bowling from around the wicket. He managed the angle and turn, and on his second try, he hit the coin and achieved the impossible.

Everyone was left shocked and with a smile on their face. Graeme Swann could not hold his excitement back and shouted, ‘Still The Master.’ Which was a testament to Murlidharan’s greatness and impact on cricket.
