Cricket Viral Video: During the rescheduled fifth Test match in 2021, England put India to bat first, and their batting order struggled as they fell to 98-5. However, Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja teamed up for a massive 222-run stand for the sixth wicket, with Pant leading the charge by smashing English bowlers all over the park. He took off the entire cricketing world by storm when he smashed James Anderson, one of the greatest bowlers ever, for a reverse sweep on one of the best delivery.

Rishabh Pant’s unbelievable shot vs Anderson

Pant scored 146 runs off 111 balls with 20 fours and six sixes, earning his fifth century in the longest format of the game. During his innings, Rishabh Pant played many unorthodox shots that are not typically seen in Test cricket. One such instance occurred when he tried to reverse scoop James Anderson, England’s best bowler, for a boundary while he was in his sixties.

Anderson had bowled a full-length delivery outside the off-stump, and Pant surprised everyone by attempting the shot. Although the ball didn’t reach the boundary, the batsmen still managed to pick up a couple of runs. The outrageous shot has been one of the best ever played by the star wicketkeeper-batsman.
