Cricket Viral Video: Sachin Tendulkar takes an unbelievable stunner at boundary, the catch that brought Pakistan team on knees

Cricket Viral Video: Sachin Tendulkar is renowned as one of the best cricketing batsman ever. The former captain of India was an expert fielder, a useful spinner, and a maestro with the willow in his hands. Tendulkar’s fielding skills, though, were sometimes overshadowed by his outstanding hitting.

In an ODI encounter between India and Pakistan in 2004, Tendulkar once bowled an absolute stunner to dismiss former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq. Sourav Ganguly was captaining the Men in Blue during India’s 2004 tour to Pakistan when they faced off against Inzamam and company in a series of five one-day internationals and three tests.

Inzamam was dismissed by Sachin in the fifth and deciding match, at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore when the cricketer made an incredible catch at the boundary rope. Before Inzamam regained control, Pakistan had fallen to 3/25 after being set a daunting goal of 294 runs after just seven overs.

Prior to being bowled by Murali Kartik after 38 off 51 balls, he and Younis Khan (12) shared 33 runs for the fourth wicket. Kartik was trying to be sent over long-on when Inzamam stepped out to block him, but Tendulkar caught him on the boundary rope. The Master Blaster put on a fantastic athletic performance in which he not only prevented the loss of a particular six but also made sure Inzamam was sent back.

After Inzamam was dismissed, Pakistan’s control of the match began to wane, but Shoaib Malik (65), and Moin Khan (72) put up a heroic fightback to give India a serious worry as they pursued the game’s destruction. For the seventh wicket, the duo scored 99 runs together, keeping the hosts in the game.

To restrict the hosts to 253 and set up a commanding 40-run victory for India, the Indian bowlers quickly dealt with Pakistan’s remaining batsmen after they left the field. India went on to use the significant victory to win the 5-match series 3-2.
