Cricket Viral Video: During the inaugural T20I match of New Zealand's tour of the UAE on August 17th, Mitchell Santner executed a remarkable one-handed catch to dismiss UAE batsman Asif Khan. The catch was taken off Santner's own bowling, adding to the display of skill and athleticism in the match.

Santner's redefines fielding standard

Unable to anticipate the subtle change of pace from Santner, UAE's batsman Asif Khan mistimed a shot, sending the ball airborne towards the end of the sixth over. Displaying his astute athleticism, the New Zealand all-rounder took a few strides to his right before leaping into the air, extending his body to grasp the ball with his right hand.

In pursuit of a target of 156 set by the visiting team, this stunning catch further disrupted UAE's chase, leaving them at 62-3 after seven overs. The home side could not recover from this setback and eventually succumbed, getting bowled out for 136 runs, falling short of the target by 19 runs.

Santner concluded his spell with impressive figures of 2-22, while the primary demolisher of the opposition, Tim Southee, achieved a remarkable five-wicket haul. The New Zealand captain played a pivotal role in this, securing figures of 5-25.
