On Tuesday, his performance against Bangladesh was sensational. He restricted the Bangladesh team to a sub-par score and guided Pakistan towards an easy victory. One of his deliveries has gone viral on social media which would have made Wasim Akram proud.

The Cricket Viral Video features a delivery by Shaheen Shah Afridi that will make even former Pakistan legend Wasim Akram proud. ICC posted a video after that comparing the deliveries by both bowlers.
Last night, Shaheen Afridi sensationally dismissed Mahmudullah as he was left speechless. While bowling from round the wicket, the delivery by Shaheen completely changed the angle and hit the off stump.
The delivery was very similar to that of Wasim Akram’s iconic delivery against England in the 1992 World Cup. The official account of ICC has posted both the frames and the resemblance between both deliveries is maddening.

With this victory, Pakistan is now in 5th position and can still qualify for the knockouts. They will need a miracle for that to happen but we have seen so many times that miracles happen in this sport. After all, the 2022 T20 World Cup run of Pakistan is the perfect example of that.
