Cricket Viral Video: Finally, the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is at full fever and we are getting those high-voltage clashes. Just a few days ago we got the epic run chase by South Africa against Pakistan courtesy of Keshav Maharaj.
On Saturday, we almost got another sensational record chase by New Zealand against the Australians. It might be the best match of the tournament so far and very few people will argue about that.
While batting first, the Aussies put up 388 runs on the scoreboard courtesy of Travis Head and his sensational century in just 59 deliveries. In return, Rachin Ravindra also scored a century and the Kiwis needed 19 runs in the last over. Let’s see how that unfolded.

New Zealand needed 19 runs in the last over and Jimmy Neesham was in sensational form during the time and had completed his half-century. In front of him, was Mitchell Starc, who is also known as the death specialist.
Trent Boult stole a single on the first ball of the over to give the strike to Neesham. Starc bowled a wide ball that gave the Kiwis five runs and stabilized the equation completely. They needed 13 runs in 5 deliveries now.
The next three deliveries are a testament to Pat Cummins as a captain and the Australian team as a fielding unit. Because of Cummings smart field placement and Labushagne’s sensational stop, Neesham was only able to score 6 in the three deliveries, needing 6 in 2.
By The Barest Of Margins
The 5th ball of the over was also driven by Neesham but was not enough to take a double. But they had no other option and once again, Neesham was run out in a flashback to the 2019 ODI World Cup. The Kiwis lost the match by 5 runs by the barest of margins once again. But they gave us one of the best matches of this World Cup so far.
