CSK vs RCB IPL 2023: Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings are currently clashing at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. CSK’s batters posted a mammoth 226/6 in 20 overs. In response, the RCB didn’t have quite a good start and lost two wickets at just 15 runs. However, Faf Du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell wreaked absolute mayhem later. They scored 121 runs in just 10 overs. However, out of all the big highlights, one specific moment from Rahane stole the show, in which he saved a six by jumping just across the boundary rope.
Rahane’s impressive athletic skills
Rahane first stole the limelight with his hitting in the first innings where he came to bat at a crucial phase and slammed 37 runs in 20 balls, helping his team in reaching a mammoth total. However, while chasing, Virat (6 off 4) and Lormor (0 off 5) got out cheaply and RCB appeared to lose the match. However, Faf and Maxwell led on the charge.
While the two batters completed their onslaught on the bowler, Rahane pulled off an incredible save during the ninth over, which was being bowled by Ravindra Jadeja. On the fifth ball of the over, Maxwell just like usual throttled the ball to six on long-off. Rahane, who was standing at the spot, jumped off and threw the ball back to the ground while almost bending into half. He fell to the ground and failed to take the catch but saved valuable five runs.
