Jos slams back-to-back sixes

Rajasthan Royals did not have a great start in the game as they lost their opener Yashasvi Jaiswal under the second over with a score of 10 runs off 8 balls. This early setback jolted RR’s effort to have a strong start in the game. However, Devdutt Padikkal and their star batter Jos Buttler once again took on the charge and stabilised the innings from thereon.

Until the seventh over, the team had scored 68 runs with a loss of one wicket. Then, Moeen Ali was charged to bowl the next over. He succeeded in restricting the run rate as he gave just 6 runs in the first four balls. However, on the fifth ball of the over, which came at a short length, Butller smacked it straight to mid-wicket. On the final ball of the over, which also was like the last delivery, Buttler yet again sailed it to the same direction with even more force and it ended up going even further higher. In the process, he also became the 3rd quickest batter to score 3,000 runs in the tournament.
