ESPN Awards: Rishabh Pant wins top Test batting award, Pakistan dominate limited-overs awards

India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant won the top Test batting award for his unbeaten 89 at the Australian soil in the decisive Gabba Test that helped India to lift the series down under for the second consecutive time.

New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson was adjudged ‘Captain of the Year’ at the 15th Annual ESPNcricinfo awards.

The Test bowling award went to Kyle Jamieson for his 5 for 31, which helped New Zealand become the first World Test champions.

Pakistan dominated ODI and T20I awards. Fakhar Zaman for the top award for his 193-run knock against South Africa at the Wanderers. Zaman’s score is also the highest for any batter in an ODI chase and second ever in a losing cause.

Shaheen Afridi won the T20I bowling award for his annihilation of India in a ten-wicket win for Pakistan at the T20 World Cup.
