GT vs DC IPL 2023: The Delhi Capitals had a terrible start to their ongoing IPL 2023 match against the leading Gujarat Titans. Within the first 6 overs, they lost 5 wickets and only managed to score 28 runs. Even their captain, David Warner, who has been the highest scorer for the team, fell victim to a run-out by Rashid Khan and had to leave the field.

David Warner's disappointing runout

On the second ball of the second over, Priyam Garg struck the ball towards short mid-wicket, where Rashid was positioned as a fielder. Garg made an effort to go for a swift single but remained rooted to his spot, leaving his teammate David Warner stranded in the middle of the pitch. This incident occurred while facing Hardik Pandya.

Despite David Warner's determination to complete the run, he had no choice but to witness Rashid Khan running him out. The situation is not favourable for the Delhi Capitals, as they have already lost key players such as Rilee Rossouw, Manish Pandey, Priyam Garg, and Phil Salt, in addition to David Warner. With Axar Patel and Aman Khan currently batting, Delhi will need to remain optimistic and work towards constructing a successful inning despite the setbacks.
