GT vs LSG IPL 2023: Shubman Gill has been in red-hot form this year and has continued to score runs irrespective of series & tournaments. In today's match against LSG, he once again continued his domination with bat as he slammed 94* off 51 balls, as he fell short of just 6 runs of his century. Following his knock, netizens have taken to Twitter to praise the rising star of Indian Cricket.

Shubman Gill powers GT to massive total

In this clash of brothers, Krunal Pandya won the toss and chose to bowl first. However, this decison severely backfired as Wriddhiman Saha (81 off 43) and Shubman Gill went on to score 142 runs for the first wicket partnership in just 12 overs. Shubman Gill notched up his fifty in 29 balls and slammed seven sixes in total.

His first four came after he scored 68 runs, which is an acheivement in itself as he continued to smash sixes. His knock included just two fours. He remained unbeaten with a strike rate of 184.31, however, as he got to play less balls in last few overs, he couldn't reach to the triple-digit figure, However, his inning was truly a treat for the fans as he slammed maginficient and well-timed 94*.
