GT vs LSG IPL 2023: 6,4,6,4 – The Wriddhiman Saha Show! Goes bonkers in 81-Run Knock, Smashes 10 boundaries and four sixes, Watch

GT vs LSG IPL 2023: The highly anticipated thriller between Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants is currently underway at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The visitor team won the toss and opt to bowl first. However, Gujarat openers Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha took on a blistering start and making 142 run partnership for the first wicket in 12 overs. Wriddhiman Saha scored 81 off 43 balls, and his knock is now getting viral on the internet.

Wriddhiman Saha dazzles with bat

Gujarat Titans had a stormy start as they scored 31 runs in 3 overs without any loss. Krunal Pandya gave the ball to Mohsin Khan to bring in some early breakthrough. However, he ended up giving 22 runs in the over as Wriddhiman Saha went 6,4,6,4 in his over. Following the over, Saha’s score stood at 46* off just 19 balls.

There was no stopping Saha as he brisked forward with a 20-ball-fifty in the match. By the end of the powerplay, the team scored 78 runs without any loss. After Saha’s fifty, Gill also found his rhythm and smashed his fifty in the 12th over. Saha’s knock included ten boundaries and four sixes as he launched an absolute batting onslaught attack on bowlers. This was also the second-highest partnership for the first wicket in IPL 2023. He was ultimately dismissed on the first ball of the 13th over, which was being bowled by Avesh Khan, as he was caught out by substitute Prerak Mankad just near the boundary ropes.
