Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s historic over

Until the 19th over, the Gujarat Titans had reached 186-5, and it appeared likely that they would comfortably surpass the 200-mark. However, the Titans’ hopes were dashed in the final over, which was handed over to T20 death over specialist Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar dismissed Abdul Samad on the very first delivery of the over, and then in a blink, sent Rashid Khan back to the pavilion on the second ball.

With Bhuvaneshwar on a hat-trick for the third delivery, astonishingly, Noor Ahmad got out on this one, but it was a team effort hat-trick of wickets with a run-out. A single came from the fourth ball from the bat of Shanaka, but on the fifth delivery, Bhuvaneshwar struck again, this time dismissing Muhammad Shami. Mohit Sharma faced the last delivery of this historic over, and only one run came from it. In summary, SRH took four wickets in the final over, conceding just two runs, restricting the Titans to a score of 188-9.
