Hardik Pandya: Mumbai Indians (MI) Captain Hardik Pandya brought cheers to the IPL 2026 fans when he recreated the famous Rakka move by Tollywood actor Allu Arjun.

On April 8, the makers of AA22 XA6 announced the title of Allu Arjun as Raaka on the event of his birthday.

Hardik Pandya-IPL 2026 Match Against RCB

Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper Rajat Patidar, Virat Kohli and Phil Salt scored half-centuries as RCB defeated Mumbai Indians in a high-scoring match at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Patidar scored a quick-fire 53 off just 20 balls after Kohli (50 off 38 balls) and Salt (78 off 36 balls) posted a stand of 120 runs for the first wicket.

Patidar smashed a half century in just 17 balls to match the record by Adam Gilchrist way back in 2009 for the fastest 50 by a captain in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Gilchrist had achieved the feat in Centurion against Delhi.

In response, Mumbai Indians started well before Rohit Sharma left the ground after being injured due to a hamstring issue. Suryakumar Yadav (33), Hardik Pandya (40) and Ryan Rickelton (37) made good contributions but could not save MI from a defeat.

RCB may have won but not all is good with the team. Star batsman and former Indian captain Kohli didn’t took the field during the chase of MI because of an ankle issue. Youngster Jacob Bethell replaced him in the outfield and Kohli fans were left concerned.

The score of 240 runs for the loss of 4 wickets is the highest total by team RCB against MI. Interestingly, MI’s total of 222 for the loss of 5 wickets is also its highest-ever score against RCB in the history of IPL.
