Marcus Rashford: In February, Marcus Rashford was overjoyed after winning the Red Devil and Premier League Player of the Month Award.
The Manchester United forward star Rashford enjoyed the best campaign of his career, scoring 26 goals and providing 41 assists in the matches. Rashford also bagged five seasons of league goals during February.
How did Rashford react to his winning both Premier League Player of the Month and Manchester United player of the month:
Rashford tweeted: “Over the moon to have won (Manchester United) & (Premier League) Player Of The Month again. I couldn’t have done it without the rest of the boys and the staff. Setbacks will happen but as long as we stay focused and stay together we will always see the light at the end of the tunnel!”
Rashford received the award three more times this season, more than any player. Rashford even created history by becoming the first Englishmen to get three players of the month award in one season. he collected his award in September and January.
On 5th March MAN U took a massive hit with a loss of 7-0 against Liverpool. The Red Devils responded on March 9th with a comfortable win of 4-1 against Real Betis in the first leg. Rashford was on the scoresheet in the victory against Real Betis at Old Trafford.
