The ICC announced the prize money of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 edition, as the winner will take home around 30 crores, which is double compared to the last edition winner earned.
India finished in third place in the WTC cycle 2023-25 and couldn’t qualify for the WTC final for the first time ever. India bagged almost the same prize, which Australia earned last time after winning the WTC 2021-23 cycle.
ICC has doubled the purse of the WTC ahead of the 2023-25 cycle final between Australia and South Africa at Lord's on June 11, Wednesday.
How much does India earn in the WTC 2023-25?
India earned almost INR 12.32 crore despite being knocked out of the tournament in the league stage. The amount of INR 12.32 crore is equal to the previous winners of the WTC - New Zealand in 2021 and Australia in 2023.

The winner will receive a cash prize of INR 30.81 crores, whereas the runner-up will end up to claim a prize of INR 17.97 crores, which is also more than the last time winner earned.
The first two editions of WTC have the same prize money, as the winner won INR 12.32 crore each and the runner-up earned INR 6.84 crore.
