Hyderabad on rise after third consecutive victory, Iyer-led KKR face another defeat

SunRisers Hyderabad beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 7 wickets to register their third victory this season.

Tripathi and Markram got together after Sunrisers had lost their first two wickets for 39 runs. They raised 94 runs for the third wicket partnership after their bowlers had done a good job to restrict Kolkata Knight Riders to 175/8 in their allotted 20 overs. Sunrisers eventually reached 176/3 in 17.5 overs to register a comfortable victory.

While for KKR, their batting has not worked in the last few games. Skipper Shreyas Iyer brought Aaron Finch in the side in place of Ajinkya Rahane but the Australian captain failed to impress.

SRH after a poor start has now picked up the pace and moved to the top half of the points table.
