ICC T20 World Cup 2026: Former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir remarked on the Haarna Mana Hai show that Pakistan would reach the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 while India would bow out of it. The left-arm pacer said that India would find it difficult to beat the in-form West Indies on March 1.

Ashwin added people should not forget that India’s all-time great Yuvraj Singh is the mentor of Abhishek Sharma. Ashwin went on to add that the only thing that the dashing opener could be guilty of it showing intent on each and every ball, right from ball one.

If Pakistan defeats Sri Lanka by a healthy margin today, it would improve its net run rate ahead of New Zealand. However, Pakistan would crash out of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 if it loses to Sri Lanka or if the game gets washed out. A washed out game would give Pakistan a single point making its points tally to 2 while New Zealand has 3 points to its credit. Team England has already qualified from Group 2 for the semi-finals.
