Players angry over Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep Yadav had been effective with the ball throughout the game and appeared to be in a position to add another wicket in the 25th over when he successfully used a googly to trap Alex Carey. Although Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were discussing taking the judgement upstairs, umpire Nitin Menon appeared uninterested in the appeal. Kuldeep Yadav flatly rejected their request and went back to his crease without wanting to review the outcome.

The decision left Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma speechless and obviously miffed since Alex Carey's dismissal at that precise moment would have put Australia on the back foot with half the team in the dugout.Alex Carey was struck on his pads by a terrific ball from Kuldeep Yadav, and despite the Indian team's loud appeal, the umpire did not give him out.

When they went to Kuldeep for his opinion, the bowler was already making his way back to his crease, leaving Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Virat Kohli to consider whether or not to take a review. All three of them were left shocked and confused seeing Kuldeep. The Indian captain and others were obviously irritated by the situation. Later, the big screen replay revealed that he could have been out. This left everyone baffled.
