IND vs AUS: Ravindra Jadeja’s spin magic creates controversy ! Alleged of applying suspicious item on finger, watch here

IND vs AUS: The Border-Gavaskar Trophy isn’t just about the cricket being played on the field. It’s a mental game and a battle of words between the cricketing communities of both nations, with the Australian media often rallying behind their team and putting pressure on the opposition. They’re quick to jump on any opportunity to complain, and this tendency was on full display when a video circulated on social media showing Ravindra Jadeja allegedly putting something suspicious on his finger.

Despite the fact that the match referee and on-field umpires have not reported anything wrong or unfair, the Australian media quickly latched onto the incident. The video showed Mohammed Siraj apparently giving something to Jadeja, who applied it to his index finger before bowling. Ex-Australia captain Tim Paine called the situation “interesting,” while former England captain Michael Vaughan questioned what was happening.

Reports suggest that what Jadeja used was an ointment for a callused finger, which is allowed under ICC Playing Conditions. Batsmen are allowed to use creams between overs, and bowlers who, like Jadeja, may develop difficulties or cracks, can also use creams to avoid discomfort.
