IND vs AUS: In the fifth match of the ICC Cricket World 2023 at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday, October 8, 28-year-old Indian wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav bowled out 34-year-old Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell.

The Indian spinners displayed their dominance in the game, creating challenges for the Australian batsmen. None of the batters could find their rhythm on the challenging Chepauk pitch, with no player managing to score beyond 50 runs.
Amid the Indian spinners’ strong performance against the Australian team, there were high hopes for the all-rounder Glenn Maxwell to rescue his side from trouble. However, Maxwell’s efforts fell short as he was dismissed for just 15 runs from 25 balls, including one four.
In the 36th over, Kuldeep Yadav bowled a length ball that prompted Maxwell to attempt a pull shot, but he completely missed the ball, resulting in his leg stump being uprooted. Maxwell appeared visibly disappointed by his dismissal, while Kuldeep and Rohit Sharma celebrated the wicket with smiles on their faces.
