The current T20 World Cup has been adversely affected by the weather, particularly in Melbourne, where four games have been postponed or washed out due to rain, including three that were done so without a ball being thrown.

The Super 12 game faces the possibility of weather delays, with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting a 60% likelihood of rain. “Cloudy. Medium (60%) chance of showers, most likely in the evening. Winds southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h,” the website stated.

India was cruising toward the semifinals after defeating Pakistan, but the loss to South Africa stopped it in its tracks. But beating Bangladesh should almost certainly guarantee its spot in the final four. However, if the Tigers can defeat both India and Pakistan, they may qualify for the semifinals.

League games don't have reserve days. Should there be a total washout, the teams will each receive one point. A reserve day is allowed for the semifinal and final.
