IND vs BAN: WTF! Rohit Sharma loses cool, hurls abuses on Washington Sundar for THIS reason, watch here

IND vs BAN: In the first of the three ODI matches on Sunday, India and Bangladesh played in a low-scoring thriller. Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who guided his team to a surprise victory with a 51-run stand for the final wicket, was the hero for the home team. On a few occasions, Indian fielders dropped or chose not to go for catches, which was fortunate for him.

Rohit hurls abuses on Washington Sundar

One such incident occurred in the 43rd over of the innings, when Bangladesh was still quite a distance from winning. Mehidy cut the ball forcefully in the direction of the third-man fielder off the fourth delivery of the over as Shardul Thakur had the ball in his hands. But, Washington Sundar, who was fielding at the time, missed the opportunity and the ball fell just in front of him.

In response to his failed chance, Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, became extremely enraged and began verbally abusing him. Rohit didn’t seem to think Sundar didn’t do much effort for the catch that could have been easily taken. At the same moment, the India captain expressed himself on the groud. Rohit yelled angrily, “What the f**k, Bhe*c**d.”

Frequent catch-drops costed the match

Curiously, Mehidy Hasan had benefited on wicketkeeper KL Rahul’s dropped catch at fine leg only one delivery earlier. Thakur threw a short ball, and the batter’s pull shot caused the top edge of the ball to come off, sending it high. Rahul returned to the field and attempted to make the grab, but he ultimately dropped it and the ball, ending the game.

Bangladesh now have a lead of 1-0

Regardless of the circumstances, Mehidy Hasan Miraz on his own, led Bangladesh to victory with a brilliant performance when it mattered most. The hosts now have a 1-0 series advantage after this victory and will be eager to win the remaining match on December 7 in order to clinch the three-match series.
