On the first ball he faced when he arrived, he hit a flawless cover drive to Adam Milne. Fans were quick to highlight that the shot was very much similar to India’s batting legend Virat Kohli.

Shreyas Iyer continued to dominate with the bat as in the very next over, he played a powerful straight drive to Matt Henry. Iyer also played an 80-run stormy inning in the first ODI. His inning and shots in today’s match were highly applauded by the fans.

New Zealand leads the series 1-0

In this series, New Zealand has a lead of 1-0. The series' opening game was won by New Zealand by a margin of five wickets, and the second game was called off due to rain. India now has one final opportunity to tie the series in the final game. However, the outcome seems to very tough in India's favour as the batters could not set the target as expected from them in the final game.
