IND vs NZ: The three-match series’ penultimate T20I between India and New Zealand is currently underway in Ahemdabad. On what appeared to be a difficult surface, Hardik Pandya chose to bat first after winning the toss. Ishan Kishan was dismissed by New Zealand, who also managed to keep India quiet for a few overs. The first blood was drawn when Michael Bracewell LBWed the batter. Rahul Tripathi entered the room as Kishan left.

Rahul Tripathi hits a wild shot

The batter began hitting his shots immediately, as usual. Tripathi was fortunate to avoid being caught on a couple of his aerial shots that landed in open space. However, with Shubman Gill causing destruction in the middle, Tripathi also stepped up his game and hit some impressive shots. One shot was so remarkable that it left the commentators speechless with admiration for the batter’s skills.

In a bold move, Tripathi played a paddle scoop for a six against New Zealand’s quickest bowler, Lockie Ferguson. In the third delivery of the sixth over, Ferguson delivered a full ball which Tripathi effortlessly sent into the fine leg stand.

As he sped to 44 off just 21 balls, the hitter kept cleaning up the New Zealand bowlers. Tripathi attempted to reach his first fifty in style, but he was trapped at fine leg.
