IND vs PAK: The upcoming T20 World Cup’s Super 12 round match between India and Pakistan is keenly anticipated by the fans in Melbourne. Babar Azam and Rohit Sharma will be hoping that their teams rise to the occasion and deliver a strong performance in front of a lively stadium crowd. Momin Saqib, the comedian known as “Maro Mujhe Maro” guy, said in a funny interview on Saturday that matches between India and Pakistan are the “mother of all matches” and that rain will not interfere with this match.
“Australia is so far away, if we have come this far, you can only guess the excitement that is there for the tournament. When it is India vs Pakistan, the entire energy, limelight is on this India-Pakistan match, it is the mother of all matches,” said Saqib in a video.
“Fans were worried about rain playing spoilsport, I told them let’s bring buckets, even if it rains, we will collect the water and dump it out. You just see the weather now, the sun is out, so much Vitamin-D. Even if it rains, we will collect the water,” he added.
According to forecasts, there will be a complete cloud cover by 7 PM Melbourne Time (1:30 PM IST), although there is very little probability of rain. The cloud cover would be there throughout the whole match, which is slated to go from 7 PM to 10:30 PM Melbourne Time.
Even if an odd one or two showers are predicted, it is doubtful that the weather would cause the game to be cancelled.
As India and Pakistan square up in the Group B match of the T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12, cricket, the Gentleman’s Game, gears up for the mother of all rivalries.
