Ind Vs Pak T20 World Cup 2026: Former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar launched a verbal attack on Mohsin Naqvi, the Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman, after the team’s humiliating defeat to India in Colombo.

Speaking to ABP News, Akhtar was critical of senior players such as Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi who have failed to deliver despite given countless chances to prove themselves.

Shoaib Akhtar blasted Mohsin Naqvi saying that ignorant and incompetent people are running the Pakistan Cricket Board. Akhtar said unqualified people running Pakistani cricket are ruining the game. Akhtar added that the biggest crime in the world is to give the biggest job to an incompetent person.

The former speedster added team India is way ahead and Pakistan have been left far behind. Akhtar added he hopes Pakistan beats Namibia and reaches the Super 8 stage.

Interestingly, Mohsin Naqvi left the stadium after Pakistan lost five wickets in their chase at the R Premadasa International Stadium.

India Dominates Pakistan

India posted 175 for 7, powered by 77 runs by opener Ishan Kishan. The chase of Pakistan collapsed under intense pressure from Indian bowling. Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya and Varun Chakaravarthy took two wickets each while Tilak Verma and Kuldeep Yadav took one wicket each.

Usman Khan was the only Pakistani batsman who looked threatening but fell short of a half-century.
