IND vs SL: Amid criticism, KL Rahul bails India out from tough situation to give hosts unassailable 2-0 series lead vs Sri Lanka

IND vs SL: India beat Sri Lanka by 4 wickets to take the unassailable series lead of 2-0 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Chasing the target of 216, Indian batters failed to deliver in the first half of the chase as they lost four wickets for just 86 runs. But later KL Rahul added 75 runs with Hardik Pandya for the fifth wicket and bailed the team out from the danger line.

Rahul ended up scoring 64 runs while Pandya got out at 36 runs after playing responsible innings in the middle. After vice-captain Pandya got out Axar Patel held the innings with Rahul towards the end.
