Ind Vs WI 2023: Indian Team In Bazball Avatar, Shatters 22-Year-Old Record; Read Here

Ind Vs WI 2023: Opener Yashawi Jaiswal and Indian skipper Rohit Sharma are enjoying their time in West Indies. They have been tearing apart the Caribbean bowling lineup from the first delivery.

While Jaiswal has scored 1 century and 1 half-century in three innings, the skipper has 1 century and 2 half centuries to his name. And they were even more scary for the Indies team yesterday.

On the fourth day of the second test, both openers embarked on Bazball style to shatter the West Indies lineup. And in the process, the Indian team broke a 22-year-old record that no one ever thought will happen.

Fastest Test Hundred

Rohit Sharma scored his fastest test half-century in just 35 deliveries. His previous fastest half-century came in 47 deliveries against England at Chepauk. Jaiswal also scored brilliant 38 runs in just 30 deliveries.

With these two playing these fiery knocks, India touched the 100-run mark in just 12.2 overs. In the process, they broke the record for fastest team 100 which was previously set by Sri Lanka in 2001.

Sri Lanka touched the 100-run mark against Bangladesh back in 2001 in just 13.2 overs. Ishan Kishan also scored a brilliant half-century in just 34 deliveries. Mohammed Siraj also took 5 wickets in the first inning on a pitch that offered nothing for the bowlers.

Ind Vs WI 2023: Intense Final Day Ahead

Everything depends on the final day as both results are possible. On the last day, India need to take 8 wickets while West Indies need 289 runs to win.

Considering everything we are in for a sensational game of cricket. And for the first time, this series is feeling exciting. Will West Indies save the test or India will whitewash the series?
