IND vs WI: In the ongoing first T20I against West Indies at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad, India chose to field first. However, it is young debutant Tilak Varma who has already shown glimpses of his potential on the field. The video of his fielding effort has now gone immensely popular on social media.

Tilak Verma pulls off a stunner
On his debut, Tilak Varma displayed his exceptional fielding skills, stunning the crowd with a sensational catch in the deep to dismiss West Indies' Johnson Charles for just 3 runs. Though Kuldeep Yadav delivered the ball that led to the wicket, the young Tilak deserves full credit for this remarkable scalp.
The delivery from Kuldeep Yadav was tossed up, tempting Johnson Charles to attempt a slog sweep for a six. Unfortunately, Charles miscued the shot, sending the ball high up in the air. With a remarkable display of agility and precision, Tilak Varma sprinted nearly 10-15 meters to his left and executed a perfectly timed dive, pulling off an absolute blinder, and elevating his team's position to a commanding one.
Tilak Varma's exceptional performances in the last two IPL seasons and a successful domestic campaign earned him a well-deserved maiden call-up to the Indian team. As one of the most reliable batters in the shortest format, all eyes will be on him when India takes to the batting crease.
