The talented young cricketer became the second youngest Indian to achieve this feat, with the youngest record-holder being none other than the Indian captain, Rohit Sharma and has also broken Rishabh Pant’s record in the process.

Tilak Verma notches maiden fifty
In the first innings, the Men in Blue faced difficulties with regular wicket losses. Alzarri Joseph dismissed Shubman Gill early, while Suryakumar Yadav’s run-out added to their woes. Ishan Kishan was bowled by Kyle Mayers, and Akeal Hossan’s delivery resulted in Sanju Samson’s stumping.
Amidst the challenges, Tilak Varma displayed remarkable maturity and game awareness. Tilak Varma shines with a brilliant 51-run knock off 41 deliveries, including five fours and a six. He impressively enters the record books, becoming the second youngest Indian player to score a T20I fifty, achieving this feat in just two games, surpassing Rishabh Pant’s record.
