India Vs Pakistan Confirmed In Asia Cup 2023; The Fiercest Rivalry Of Cricket Awaited

India Vs. Pakistan Confirmed: The Asian Cricket Council confirmed that the Asia Cup will be played in Hybrid Mode, with Pakistan and Sri Lanka co-hosting the tournament. It also clears up the path for one of the biggest cricket matches in the world.

Earlier, Pakistan was scheduled to host the tournament completely. BCCI denied their participation in Asia Cup because of that. But now ACC has approved the hybrid model. India and Pakistan will face off against each other at least twice.

The Storm Before The Calm

Earlier BCCI stated that they won’t be sending Indian Cricket Team to Pakistan for the continental tournament. This decision led to an uproar in the Pakistan Cricket Board. The PCB were ready to pull out of 2023 World Cup as it was going to be hosted in India.

But, finally a solution was reached. ACC President Jay Shah confirmed the Hybrid Model meaning that India vs Pakistan match will be played in Sri Lanka. The latest reports have also confirmed that Pakistan will travel to India for World Cup 2023.
