India vs South Africa, 2nd T20I: David Miller’s century in vain as India take unassailable 2-0 lead vs South Africa

India vs South Africa, 2nd T20I: After spectacular batting performance, India beat South Africa by 16 runs in the second T20I at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. Chasing the huge target of 238, South Africa fought well and reached 201 in 20 overs. David Miller scored a blistering ton in just 46 balls while Quinton de Kock remained not out with his 69 runs. In total over 458 runs were made in 40 overs in Guwahati.

Even after the win, it was not a good day for the Indian bowlers in the middle and the absence of fifth bowler was felt hard for the Rohit Sharma-led team.

Indian spinners were poor with their line and length and surprisingly only Deepak Chahar was the bowler who gave less than 30 runs in his four over quota.

Earlier, Suryakumar Yadav top-scored for India with his quickfire 61-run knock while KL Rahul scored 57 runs. Later star batter Virat Kohli too joined the party and had put out the display of his top quality form again. Kohli scored 49 runs and had played a game changing role with Suryakumar Yadav.
