Veteran Australian cricketer Shane Warne is named as the brand ambassador for the Rajasthan Royals for the second year in a row before the start of the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).
Shane Warne is also the mentor of Rajasthan Royals and he is keen to lift the second trophy for Rajasthan Royals.
Warne will work on the Royal’s management to strengthen their international fanbase and engage the team in increasing the potential sponsors with his exceptional cricketing foresight.
The Australian leg-spinner is also campaigning for the team ethics and ethos, which includes Royals’ philanthropic initiatives for a woman-empowerment under Royal Rajasthan Foundation.
“On my dual role, it’s always a great feeling to be back with Royals, my team, my family,” Warne said.
“It’s exciting to be working across all elements of this franchise that I love. We have worked towards our vision of becoming a global team that fans around the world love and follow. This season I am looking forward to working as a Team Mentor and joining up with an excellent backroom staff in Zubin Bharucha and Andrew McDonald.”
