Hardik Pandya, the 29-year-old Indian cricketer, played a crucial role in guiding the Indian team to victory in the recently concluded T20I series against Sri Lanka and New Zealand, securing a 2-1 win. However, Hardik is primarily a T20I and ODI player, and is not part of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, with his last Test being against England in 2018.

On the other hand, Krunal Pandya last played cricket for Baroda during the Vijay Hazare Trophy in November 2022. Both brothers are now preparing for their upcoming stint in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Hardik, who has been retained for ₹15 crore, will lead the defending champions Gujarat Titans, while Krunal, retained for ₹8.25 crore, will play for Lucknow Super Giants.
