IPL 2023: Gujarat Titans Coach Ashish Nehra Celebrates Wedding Anniversary Mid-Air, heard saying "Tu bhi Shaadi Kar Le!" Watch

IPL 2023: The defending champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Gujarat Titans (GT), started their campaign for the 2023 edition with a win against Chennai Super Kings in a thrilling last-over match. Before leaving Ahmedabad for their next match, the GT team celebrated a special occasion, which was the wedding anniversary of their head coach Ashish Nehra and his wife Rushma. Nehra and Rushma got married on April 2, 2009 and have two children. The team celebrated by cutting a cake and Nehra entertained everyone with some jokes.

Ashish Nehra teases players and his wife

Hardik Pandya, the captain of the Gujarat Titans, led a celebration song for the team. After it ended, Ashish Nehra, the head coach, quickly commented to one of the players, telling him to get married as well by saying, "Abbey tu bhi shaadi kar le." The team then cut the cake for Nehra's wedding anniversary, and he remarked, "Happy wife, happy life."

Nehra expressed his happiness that his wife enjoyed the celebration and playfully teased her for being a Gujarati, joking that she was enjoying the cake because she didn't have to pay for it. The humorous moment was shared among the people present and the video has since become viral on the internet.

In their next game, the Gujarat Titans will face the Delhi Capitals. The Capitals lost their previous game by a big margin to the Lucknow Super Giants, but they were without some of their top players such as Anrich Nortje, Lungi Ngidi, and Mustafizur Rahman. However, these players are expected to be available for the Titans match. The Titans had won against the Delhi team when they played against them in the previous season.
