IPL 2023: The defeat of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in a closely contested match at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on Tuesday left many fans disappointed. Led by impressive half-centuries from Kohli, captain Faf du Plessis, and Glenn Maxwell, RCB posted a daunting total of 212 for 2 in 20 overs. Despite their impressive total, LSG managed to successfully chase the target, losing nine wickets in the closely-fought game. A die-hard fan of Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) became an overnight sensation on the internet after a video capturing her tearful reaction to the team’s defeat went viral on various social media platforms. The emotional video has received a lot of attention, with numerous likes and comments pouring in from other fans.
This was also the highest successful run chase at the venue, and fans would have never expected such to happen. Nicholas Pooran slammed a 19-ball-62 run knock which helped the Lucknow Super Giants to chase down the target. Despite an impressive over in the last, Harshal Patel failed to defend 5 runs and RCB lost the match. The video has gone viral ever since.

Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate in the high-voltage IPL match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The team’s captain Faf du Plessis was fined Rs 12 lakh, as it was RCB’s first offense of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct related to minimum over-rate offenses. LSG’s Avesh Khan, on the other hand, has been reprimanded for violating the same Code of Conduct.
