IPL 2023: The second match of Saturday’s double-header took place at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi between RCB and DC. Despite losing the toss, the home team managed to win the match as they chased down the target with ease as 20 balls left spare. However, one video following the match has now gotten viral on social media.
A proper friends get-together
After the match had concluded and RCB suffered a massive defeat, a few players from RCB and DC were seen chatting on the ground and laughing with each other while enjoying every conversation. The players included Virat Kohli, Axar Patel, Mohammed Siraj, and Ishant Sharma amongst several other new players as well.
Mohammed Siraj earlier had a fiery exchange with star batter Philip Salt who took away the game with his inning (87 off 45) during the fifth over of the match. Netizens have pointed out that they could have been talking about that particular incident. Virat was seen sitting just beside Ishant and hilariously rolling on the ground with laughter as Siraj continued to speak. It appeared like a proper get-together between friends.

Coming to match, RCB posted a score of 181/4 in 20 overs. Virat Kohli smacked 55 off 46 while Lomror smashed his maiden fifty and scored 54 off 29. In response, DC managed to chase down the total by 20 balls to spare, showing their dominance. A total of 12 sixes were hit during DC’s inning compared to 6 in RCB.
