India's young wicketkeeper batter Ishan Kishan was bought yet again by his old franchise Mumbai Indians in the mega IPL 2022 auctions.

Kishan is now also the second-most expensive player in the history of the Indian Premier League as the his bid went till INR 15.25 crore.

Kishan over took Shreyas Iyer who was picked by Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 12.25 crore in the auctions.

Yuvraj Singh is the most expensive Indian buy in the IPL history.

Apart from Kishan, Sri Lanka leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga and West Indies batter Nicholas Pooran landed paychecks in excess of INR 10 crores in the third round.
